Could it be? A friend of mine was telling me that they are in deep talks. With Clinton quickly becoming the likely Democrat's nominee for President, it seems that she shopping around for a running mate. Could she really woo Powell not only back into politics but onto a Democratic ticket? Getting Powell onto the ticket would be a damn good start toward combating the enviable Clinton bashing that will come from Rove and his witless minions. Powell would silence criticism regarding perceived lack of foreign policy experience. Clinton and Powell would also be a foundation for a dream team in the white house. It could be an unbeatable ticket really. If she were able court Powell into being her VP, that would shore up an already flawless campaign.Whether you like the woman or not Clinton shows up prepared. She thinks outside the box and she is extremely pragmatic. Powell cancels out Obama, brings in vast foreign policy experience, and add a bipartisan element to the ticket. What a genius move.
